Alice Privey was an intern at the ISDP Korean Peninsula Project/Stockholm Korea Center from February-June 2018. Ms. Privey is a Master student in Political Science at Radboud University in the Netherlands, specializing in conflict studies. In 2016, she graduated with distinction from the University of Lille II with a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science. During this time, Ms. Privey went on an exchange to Sungkyunkwan University (SKKU) in Seoul, South Korea where she studied East Asia geopolitics as well as a Korean language course.
Ms. Privey’s research interests are security issues and cooperation in East Asia as well as peace-building approaches on the Korean peninsula. Her long-term involvement with UNICEF France and UNICEF Netherlands fostered her interest on children and women’s rights in conflict and post-conflict contexts.
