Mr. Hayato Fujisaki was an intern at ISDP’s Stockholm Japan Center in fall 2019. Mr. Fujisaki analyzed Japan´s contemporary foreign and domestic policy and researched into topics relevant to Japanese modern history. In September 2019, Mr. Fujisaki received a bachelor’s in International Studies at Dokkyo University, Japan. The course focused on Russian geopolitics and history, the modern history of East Asian security and theories of geopolitics. Before graduating he was the Head Manager of the university’s International Relations Academy Club.

Between 2017-2018, Mr. Fujisaki studied International Relations at Tallinn University of Technology, Estonia. His research focus was primarily on structural realism theories, conflict in the Middle East, European foreign policy and  East Asian history.
