Colonel Leng Feng is an assistant researcher at the Department of Operational Theories and Doctrines, Academy of Military Science, PLA. Colonel Leng joined the PLA in 1994. He studied at the Electronic Engineering Institute, PLA, from 2002 to 2005 and received his Doctorate in Military Theory. Colonel Leng came to Academy of Military Science in November 2008 and he has since been focusing on the study of military training. Currently, Colonel Leng is conducting research on the PLA’s military training transition. He is the co-author of 3 books, including The Scientific Approaches in Training, Textbook on Joint Training, and Theory of Military Training. He has also published over 20 articles in journals and newspapers. During his visit to ISDP, he will research China’s military training transition under the conditions of “Informationization.”
