Senior Colonel Dr. Wang Shumei joined ISDP as a guest researcher in November 2014. She is a Research Fellow at the Department of Armed Forces Building Studies at the PLA Academy of Military Science, China. She is the author of Four Wars and the New US Military Strategy and has acted as editor-in-chief for various books. At ISDP, her research focused on “Military Recruitment of College Students in China”.
