Dr. Zarinam Turdieva holds a Ph.D. in Political Problems of International Relations, Global and Regional Development from Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University in Kyrgyzstan. Her dissertation Cooperation Russian Federation with States of the Central Asia in the International Security was defended in 2011 in Bishkek. Dr. Turdieva has written several articles focusing on international security in the Central Asia region and has been published in the scientific journal Vestnik Kyrgyz-Russia Slavic University. Her research interest includes cooperation on issues of international and regional security in Central Asia. Dr. Turdieva is currently going through the closing phases for obtaining a Master’s Degree in Political science from Stockholm University . She also holds Master Degree with a specialization in the Baltic Sea Region from Södertörn’s University College in Stockholm.
