Erik Isaksson
Mr. Erik Isaksson is Ph.D. candidate at the Graduate School of East Asian Studies, Free University of Berlin. He worked at ISDP from 2017-2020 at both the Institute’s Japan and China Centers, and as the Outreach Coordinator. Mr. Isaksson holds a Master of Arts in Asian Languages and Cultures (with a specialization in Japanese) from Stockholm University, having also studied at Nihon University and Hokkaido University. He is particularly interested in policy processes, influence in politics and on foreign and security policies, and the role of identity in East Asian international relations.
