Maaike Okano-Heijmans
Dr. Maaike Okano-Heijmans, is a Senior Research Fellow at the Clingendael Institute in The Netherlands. Her main research interests are economic diplomacy and international relations in East Asia, with focus on Japan and China. Dr. Okano-Heijmans is Clingendael’s key scholar in the Asia-Pacific Research and Advisory Network (#APRAN) for the European Commission and the EU External Action Service.
