June 20, 2019: Sangsoo Lee was interviewed by Izvestia (Russian) about the Xi-Kim summit.

“It seems Xi intends to use the North Korea card to gain leverage in the trade negotiations with the US. If his visit is productive, Xi will bring positive signals from Pyongyang to Trump when Xi meets him during the G20 meeting in Osaka. Then, a third US-DPRK summit would likely take place soon.”
