Classical Japanese Culture and the Shakuhachi Flute – Explained by a Swedish Master

ISDP is honored to welcome Professor Gunnar Linder to this virtual lecture on some basic concepts of traditional Japanese culture and more specifically on the unique classical instrument called shakuhachi, the traditional bamboo flute. Professor Linder is a certified master of the art of playing the shakuhachi and he will also give us a few examples of the beautiful tones that the shakuhachi can produce.
