Jay Maniyar is a Researcher associated with the National Maritime Foundation (NMF), New Delhi, India. He is a former Research Associate who served for over three years at the
NMF. He specializes in East Asia (Japan and South Korea) as a geographical region and the Indian Ocean and Indo-Pacific maritime regions. He is also a Research Fellow at the Defence
Research and Studies (DRaS) think-tank. Jay is a widely published author of many articles and papers in journals, magazines, etc. He has also been associated with the Delhi Policy Group and is a Master’s graduate of the renowned S. Rajaratnam School of International Studies (RSIS), Singapore. He is an independent and a freelance researcher.
