Brian Iselin
Former Senior Research Fellow and Senior Development and Partnership Liaison
Brian Iselin, a dual Australian-Swedish national based in Brussels, was a Senior Research Fellow at ISDP’s Stockholm Taiwan Center and is the Associate Editor for World Security News and Taiwan Security News.
With a diverse background, Brian served in the Australian Army Intelligence Corps and later as a Federal Agent specializing in counter-narcotics and counterintelligence, including a posting as Embassy Counsellor in Beijing.
Brian has authored five books on business and human rights and modern slavery and served four years on the Editorial Board of the Journal of Modern Slavery.
A seasoned consultant, he has worked globally in counter-slavery, counter-narcotics, and human rights. He holds an MA in Strategic and Defence Studies, a BA in Modern Asian Studies, and is pursuing a Master’s in International Business Economics and Management in Brussels.
