Mats Engman attended the High North Security Dialogue 2024

September 23, 2024: Maj Gen (ret) Mats Engman, Head of the Stockholm Korea Center, attended the High North Security Dialogue on 17-20 September, in Garmisch Partenkirchen organized by the George C Marshall Center and the Ted Stevens Center. The theme of this year’s conference was “A divided Arctic: Is an Ice Curtain Emerging?”. A group of some 60 Arctic experts was brought together to discuss the risks of a divided Arctic, the growing cooperation between Russia and China in the Arctic and formulate policy recommendations related to the new realities.
