October 14, 2024: Are North Koreans participating in the war in Russia? Niklas Swanström, ISDP’s Executive Director, was quoted about this topic in Svenska Dagbladet.
Niklas Swanström does not believe that North Korean soldiers are fighting in the war. At least there are no such indications at the moment.
However, he believes it is likely that North Korea is helping Russia with technical expertise.
“It is mainly because of the material they have sent, both artillery shells and more advanced weapon systems,” he says.
