ISDP welcomes Josephine Ørgaard Rasmussen as Project Coordinator at the Stockholm Korea Center
October 22, 2024: ISDP is pleased to announce the appointment of Josephine Ørgaard Rasmussen as a Project Coordinator at the Stockholm Korea Center.
Ms. Ørgaard Rasmussen graduated with a master’s degree from the University of Southern Denmark in International Security and Law. Through her master’s degree, she concentrated on the security situation surrounding the Korean Peninsula. In her master’s thesis she examined how, among other things, the green transition agenda could be used as a diplomatic tool to denuclearize the Korean Peninsula in the long run through security cooperation. Following the completion of her master’s degree, she studied Korean at Pukyong National University in Busan for eight months. Ms. Ørgaard Rasmussen is interested in researching the domestic politics and security situation on the Korean Peninsula.
“I am thrilled to be back at ISDP. I first became interested in working with Korean domestic politics and security during my internship at ISDP, so it’s great to be back and have the chance to keep working on the topic. I’m excited to contribute with new knowledge while collaborating with and learning from the ISDP staff and researchers.”
