Jagannath Panda spoke at the Antalya Diplomacy Forum (ADF) in Turkey
April 22, 2025: Jagannath Panda, Head of the Stockholm Center for South Asian and Indo-Pacific Affairs, attended and spoke at the Antalya Diplomacy Forum (ADF) in Turkey titled “Reclaiming Diplomacy in a Fragmented World”, 11-13 April 2025. He was a panellist with H.E. Abdulla Khaleel – Minister of Foreign Affairs, Republic of Maldives, and Dr. Atsushi Sunami – President, Sasakawa Peace Foundation of Japan. Mr. Reagan Des Vignes of TRT World moderated the event.
The panel discussed the evolving power politics and changing dynamics in Asia-Pacific, Indo-Pacific, maritime security, and other flashpoints such as the mounting climate crisis in Tibet and the greater Himalayan region. H.E. President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan also addressed the 2025 edition of the ADF. Many high dignitaries and heads of state, and experts worldwide participated in the event.
