Taiwan’s Response to Covid-19 – A Conversation with Daniel Liao

As the novel Coronavirus spread across the globe and caught the world unprepared, Taiwan took a number of decisive measures to control the virus early. With confirmed cases and deaths sharply on the rise elsewhere, Taiwan is now being hailed as a success story in containing the Coronavirus and Covid-19, the disease it causes. However, with no membership for Taiwan in the WHO, the situation is fraught with political considerations and implications.

In this ISDP Webinar, Dr. Daniel Liao, Taiwan’s Representative in Sweden, will give a presentation on Taiwan’s response to Covid-19, and answer the audience’s questions in an open Q&A session. The event will be moderated by Dr. Niklas Swanström, Executive Director of ISDP.
