ISDP welcomes Ana Carolina De Oliveira Assis as a Project Coordinator at the Stockholm Center for South Asian and Indo-Pacific Affairs

June, 2024: ISDP is pleased to announce the appointment of Ana Carolina De Oliveira Assis as a Project Coordinator at the Stockholm Center for South Asian and Indo-Pacific Affairs.

She is a PhD candidate in Political Science at the Federal University of Pernambuco (Brazil). Prior to joining ISDP, Ana Assis was a research intern at The National Maritime Foundation (India), guest researcher at the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (Sweden) and conducted research funded by the Brazilian Ministry of Defense. Her research interests are military equipment spending, arms industry, Indo-Pacific and NATO countries.

As a Project Coordinator at the Stockholm Center for South Asian and Indo-Pacific Affairs, I am committed to continuing the good work and developing robust research on political, economic, and security affairs for the Indo-Pacific region. I also look forward to increasingly connecting researchers and projects that address these important regional issues.”
