ISDP is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Bo-jiun Jing as a Research Fellow at ISDP’s Asia Program and Stockholm China Center. He recently passed his Ph.D. viva (defense) in International Political Economy at King’s College London. He is also a member of the 2022 Chatham House-Korea Foundation Next Generation Policy Expert Network and a founder of ASEAN Plus Journal (南洋誌) in Taiwan. His research focuses on Taiwan’s foreign policy towards Southeast Asia, U.S.-China-Taiwan relations, and the international relations of the Indo-Pacific.

“I am honored and delighted to join ISDP, not least because it holds a unique position at the intersection of Western and Eastern values and politics. As Asian countries have evolved to become vital players in addressing global challenges of the 21st century, it is extremely important to develop a better understanding of the region. I look forward to the privilege of working with the international team in Sweden on various topics germane to security and development in Asia and the Indo-Pacific,” said Bo-jiun Jing.
