Jagannath Panda attended the Gulf Studies conference titled “The Gulf in the Emerging Regional (Dis)Order” in Doha, Qatar

November 22, 2014: Dr. Jagannath Panda, Head of the Stockholm Center for South Asian and Indo-Pacific Affairs, attended the Gulf Studies conference titled “The Gulf in the Emerging Regional (Dis)Order” in Doha, Qatar.

This conference was jointly co-organized by the Gulf Studies Center of Qatar University and Waseda University, Japan. Dr. Panda spoke about “The EU’s Global Gateway and the IMEC: Visualizing a Global Consensus Scenario”, and the conference was attended by experts and scholars from Gulf countries, Europe and Japan. Her Excellency Lolwah Bint Rashid Al-Khater, Minister of Education and Higher Education, Qatar, delivered a valedictory remark at the conference.
