Jagannath Panda participated in a panel on ‘Global Connectivity Politics and Trump 2.0’ organized by the ICDS

February 11, 2025: Jagannath Panda, Head of the Stockholm Center for South Asian and Indo-Pacific Affairs, spoke about “The Essence of Japan in the India-Middle East-Europe Economic Corridor (IMEC)” and participated in a panel organized at the International Center for Defence and Security (ICDS) in Tallinn on ‘Global Connectivity Politics and Trump 2.0’ on February 6, 2025. This event was organized by the Japan Chair at the ICDS. The event started with an opening remark from Dr. Kristi Raik, Director of the ICDS. The panel was moderated by Dr. Bart Gaens, Japan Chair at the ICDS and Senior Research Fellow at the Finnish Institute of International Affairs (FIIA). The other panelists of the event were Dr. Emilian Kavalski of Jagiellonian University, Krakow; and Dr. Ville Sinkkonen of the Finish Institute of International Affairs, Helsinki. This event was attended by diplomats, scholars, and representatives from civil societies.
