October 16, 2024: Johannes Nordin, a Research Fellow at ISDP’s Asia Program, participated in BASIC’s Emerging Voices Network (EVN) online launch event for its policy paper report on ‘De-siloing Existential Threats II: Tracking the Interconnections Between Global Dangers’.
In November 2023, BASIC’s Emerging Voices Network (EVN) launched the second phase of a policy cycle focused on de-siloing existential threats and how they relate to nuclear weapons. With generous support from the Ploughshares Fund, this EVN policy cycle investigated the interconnections between existential threats and how all states can better recognise these links and develop policies that reflect these connections.
