Khurram Maqsood Ahmed and Sara Naqvi join ISDP as Visiting Fellows

May 16, 2022: ISDP is pleased to announce that Khurram Maqsood Ahmed and Sara Naqvi join the Institute as Visiting Fellows from May to July, 2022.

Dr. Khurram Maqsood Ahmed is serving as a Senior Research Analyst at the Federal Government Department of Pakistan. He completed his Ph.D. in International Relations from the National Defence University, Islamabad, while assessing states’ behaviour in South Asia through the prism of nuclear deterrence and conflict transformation theories. His major areas of interest are arms control, disarmament, nuclear nonproliferation, and issues directly/ indirectly related to Pakistan and South Asia. Currently, Dr. Ahmed is a Visiting Fellow at ISDP and during his stay his research focus will be International Organizations and the Role/ Influence of Major Powers.

Dr. Sara Naqvi holds a Ph.D. in International Relations (IR) with specialization in “Energy Security” from National Defence University (NDU), Islamabad and is serving as a Senior Research Analyst (SRA) at the Federal Government Department of Pakistan.
