Agust Börjesson
Acting Head of the Stockholm Taiwan Center and Research Fellow
Mr. Agust Börjesson is the Acting Head of the Stockholm Taiwan Center and a Research Fellow at the Institute for Security and Development Policy. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Chinese language and a master’s degree in Asian Studies from Lund University in Sweden. He has also studied Chinese language at Beijing Foreign Studies University as well as International Relations at Tsinghua University in China. Mr. Börjesson has a broad interest in East Asia, foreign policy and security issues. His research focus includes Taiwan and China in relation to Sweden and the Nordic countries. Some of his research interests within international relations include the use of history, political psychology and soft power. Mr. Börjesson has experience with foreign policy having previously worked with communications at Taipei Mission in Sweden.
