
Anna Wieslander
Chairman of the ISDP Board
Anna Wieslander is the Chairman of the ISDP Board since 2018. She is Director for Northern Europe, Atlantic Council and Secretary General of the Swedish Defence Association and former Deputy Director at the Swedish Institute of International Affairs. Anna has previously held positions as Head of Speaker ́s Office at the Swedish Parliament, as Secretary of the Swedish Defence Commission and as Deputy Director at the Swedish Defence Ministry. She has also held positions as Communications Director in the private sector and worked as a newspaper journalist. Anna holds an IB exam from United World College of the American West, a BA degree in Journalism from Gothenburg University, and a MA degree in Political Science from Lund University. She has worked as a researcher at the Swedish Institute of International Affairs and the Swedish Defence Research Agency and has published extensively.
