Emma Janson

Ms. Emma Janson was an Intern at ISDP’s Stockholm China Center during spring 2021. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Peace and Conflict studies from Uppsala University and a second bachelor’s degree in Social Science from Stockholm University. Ms. Janson has completed several university level summer schools in Hong Kong and Shanghai as well as one year of mandarin studies at Peking University, deepening her understanding of China. Her research interests cover EU-China relations, China’s foreign policy, and conflict resolution. Ms. Janson believes historical and cultural considerations should always be taken into account when seeking to improve present-day policy making.
