Jingzheng Ren
Associated Senior Research Fellow
Dr. Jingzheng Ren 任竞争 is an Associated Senior Research Fellow at ISDP. He is currently an Assistant Professor at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University and an Honorary Associate Professor at the University of Southern Denmark. Dr. Ren worked as a fulltime Associate Professor at the University of Southern Denmark before moving to the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. His research centered upon sustainability-oriented decision making, energy and environmental policy, and Arctic security. Dr. Ren’s work at ISDP mainly focuses on scientific decision-making on Arctic issues for a more sustainable Arctic, including policy implications and strategic measures for Arctic resource/energy exploitation, Arctic shipping, and climate change mitigation in the Arctic.
