Ms. Li Yan joined ISDP as a guest researcher in November 2014. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in International Trade and a Master’s Degree in Geographical Economics from Lan Zhou University of China. She is currently studying for her Doctorate Degree in Information Security. Ms. Li Yan joined the Institute of Information Security and Social Development at the China Institutes of Contemporary International Relations (CICIR) in 2001. She is currently in charge of internet governance research as a Deputy Director at the Institute. Ms. Li Yan is actively involved in a range of bilateral dialogues related to cyber security and internet governance, such as CICIR-IISES Corporation Research Forum, UK-Sino internet roundtable conferences as well as Sino-US and Sino-EU Dialogues. During her stay at ISDP, she focused her research on “New trends of Internet Governance and the role of China”.
