Maud Descamps is a Junior Research Fellow at ISDP’s China Center. Before joining ISDP, she was involved in public affairs in Brussels and worked for European institutions such as the EU Delegation in Beijing and the European Parliament. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in political science from Saint-Louis University – Brussels (Belgium). Additionally, she completed an MA in European Studies in the Europe-Asia cluster at the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven (Belgium) and an MSc in China in Comparative Perspective from the London School of Economics and Political Science (UK). Her interest ranges from an anthropological approach to Chinese society to the various aspects of human security. Her research primarily focuses on Sino-European relations, defense, and security policies.
