Mr. Muhammad Jawad Hashmi is currently a Visiting Fellow at ISDP. He is pursuing a PhD at the Department of Political Science and International Relations, University of Gujrat, Pakistan. Mr. Hashmi’s PhD dissertation topic is “Indian Military Buildup: Regional Implications.” He holds both a M.Phil. and M.Sc. degree in Defence and Strategic Studies from Quaid-i-Azam University Islamabad, Pakistan. Mr. Hashmi’s research focus is towards military and security issues, nuclear terrorism, nuclear non-proliferation, arms control and disarmament with reference to South Asia.
