Nicolas Blarel is an Associate Professor of International Relations at the Institute of Political
Science, Leiden University in The Netherlands. He studies foreign and security policy-making, the politics of power transition in global politics, the politics of migration governance, and the international politics of South Asia. He is also currently Associate Editor at ‘Indian Politics and Policy’ and the Co-Chair of the South Asia in World Politics (SAWP) Section at the International Studies Association.
