Roman Guseynov

Roman Guseynov, currently interning at ISDP’s Stockholm China Center, possesses a robust academic background in Chinese studies, with a focus on China’s culture, history, and politics, acquired at Uppsala University and Dalarna University. His proficiency in the Russian language sowed the seed of interest in Chinese and politics, bridging the international arena. Roman, speaking both Chinese and Russian, aspires to be a valuable intermediary between the two formidable powers of China and Russia.

While studying in Taiwan, Roman developed a strong interest in security policies, making ISDP an undeniably perfect place to start his career. Mr. Guseynov will use his linguistic capabilities and research skills to support the institute’s mission and be a reliability to the SCC.
