Sophie Butcher

Ms. Sophie Butcher was a Country Manager with ISDP’s Myanmar Project, managing the Project’s in-country implementation. Ms. Butcher holds a M.Sc. of Political Science (Uppsala University, Sweden) and a Bachelor of Economics and Social Sciences (University of Sydney, Australia).

Ms. Butcher has previous experience working with the United Nations Development Program Pacific Centre (Suva, Fiji), where her work focused on trade and industry policies, poverty, social and economic exclusion and the Millennium Development Goals. She was with ISDP from 2011 to 2018.
