Valerio Nejoumi is an intern at ISDP’s Stockholm China Center. Originally from Rome, Italy, he holds a BA in Global Governance from the University of Rome ‘Tor Vergata’ and he is currently enrolled in a MSc in Asian Studies from Lund University. His research interests include international politics, China’s foreign policy, and EU-China relations. In his academic path, Valerio spent six months at Istanbul University, in Turkey, one semester at Tsinghua University, in Beijing, and a fieldwork at Fudan University, in Shanghai. Thanks to his intermediate knowledge of Mandarin, he had the chance to fasten relations with Chinese people and to operate in trade initiatives and international exhibitions with Chinese stakeholders.
