Mr. William Winberg is an intern at ISDP’s Japan Center. He holds a recently attained MSc in Political Science from Uppsala University. Prior to his master’s degree, Mr. Winberg also attained a BSc in Political Science and Economics from Stockholm University. Winberg has throughout his academic career specialized in the study of international politics as well as the politics of Japan. For instance, his master’s thesis set out to analyze the academic debate surrounding the foreign policy legacy of Japanese prime minister Shinzo Abe. In addition, Mr. Winberg has also completed elective courses in both international relations and Japan studies.
